I was in line for the porta-potty, and the guy in front of me was saying that the Fiddler's Gathering wasn't just a bluegrass festival "this time". I went on about how I've never known it to be that narrowly defined musically, and I told him about seeing Claude 'Fiddler' Williams.
Except I couldn't remember that name.
I said Claude Shannon.
He's the Father of Information Theory.

When I write my memoirs, I shall describe you as "the sort of fellow who would occasionally mistake great fiddlers for great computer scientists." Which is better than the previous definition, which involved accusing chestnuts of being lazy.
