She plays that harp like she's folk fingerpicking on a nylon-stringed classical guitar. I liked it. The yodel factor was sort of high, but not high enough to be annoying. Would make good sleepytime music, I think.
Honestly? I don't care for harp music to begin with, mainly because for me it's like harmonica in that it kind of all has a "sameness" to me. In this case, I simply didn't like any of it. The harp, the vocals, the phrasing, none of it.
Patrick: Yeah, that was very fingerpicky for a harpist. No long arpeggios like you expect from a harpist. Not sure about the voice yet, but I like plenty of folks with a much more affected vocal style.
Sammy: I do get that. I've heard "Kate Bush" mentioned, and I guess I can hear it, but I think there's more to KT. Then again, there are folks who run screaming from Bush, too.

I saw her on the show when it was broadcast. Errr... I can sort of see it but I don't get it or like it sorry.
Dave, I try never to run screaming from bush. Yeah that was an easy one, but you set it up, so I had to spike it!
